The cleanliness of the apartment left much to be desired, with remnants of previous guests' food still lingering in the pantry. It wasn't just minor spots either. there were dirty dishes left in the cupboards, dusty corners, and streaks on the windows. The balcony was uninviting upon arrival, covered in sludgy water and mold, which definitely detracted from the anticipated relaxation outside. Additionally, the air conditioning tended to be noisy, making restful sleep a bit of a challenge. Finally, the requirement to handle waste disposal and the unexpected cleaning fee struck as a peculiar policy that didn’t sit right given the overall condition of the unit.

I loved the big balcony where we could enjoy the beautiful scenery. The apartment has everything you need and is well-furnished. Staff at reception are friendly and helpful, ready to assist with any inquiries. However, the property is situated on a steep hill, which can be a challenge, especially in the heat. Walking down to the main street is fine, but coming back up is tough and takes longer than expected. A taxi ride back is around AUD$10, which is necessary after a long day. Overall, the hill is a downside, but the view and spaciousness make it worth considering a return visit.
